INTRODUCTION

Lacerta, founded in 2021 in Shanghai, China, is a brand created by pioneer designer Sihui Wang. 

The brand story originates from the 《Lacerta Files》.Lacerta is a lizard lady from the interior of the earth. She represents all the "mysterious, charming and strong" female images, which is the fashion icon of the brand as well. Those so-called "evil"girls are always been true to themselves. They no longer repress and sacrifice personal demands, no longer pursue the image of docility and cunning, but deeply yearn for the life of barbarism and not being coerced by anything. They believe that the source of all the search for beauty must be self-appreciation and satisfaction.

The designer is good at the unique method of combining deconstruction and tailoring,  focusing on the artistic expression of the current fashion culture, and creates a unique new sex and rebel ism.  She hoped that garments could become a kind of armor instead of a constraint, achieving every shining moment.
