INTRODUCTION

Born in Saint-Chamond, a small town in the Loire region, French designer Christophe Terzian admits to being obsessed with clothing from an early age. Enrolling ESMOD at the age of 16, he starts to create collections in Paris after graduation. Passionate about technique, color and embellishment, he now splits his time between Paris and Shanghai, where he shows his collections during Fashion Week. In 2012, Terzian decided to make his first leather biker jacket, as he couldn’t find the quality and proportions he was after. His biker was an instant success, with friends asking for personal orders and stores approaching him to stock it. The following year, he launched his eponymous brand, which developed into a full ready-to-wear line for men and women, stocked by the likes of Luisa Via Roma in Florence, Tomorrowland in Tokyo and Tsum in Moscow.
