同怀念 //@simonwangfashion:时装秀分为两种,一种是设计师自我灵感和内心世界表达的独舞,一种是商业品牌的对外宣传,我个人非常怀念70,80年代的时候,很多设计师会在咖啡厅,酒吧来展示自己的系列,有时有点哗众取宠,不过推陈出新则是那个时代给我们的烙印。

To lots of Chinese, fashion, is still with an unclear definition, while good and bad, luxury and cheap are mingling in the ocean. How to get out of this jam and be apart from the former fake, low quality impression? That is a question on the table.

As we assumed, the market tells everything. On the way lead to China's fashion industry, our customers are awaking day by day, and there're sure some steersman waving as a compass, they're the buyers, and the system behind them.

Nowadays, quality and concept are crucial points for a brand, this was the core of this interview with Mr Giovanni Bolandrini, who is running a premium buyer store in London but actually from Italy. This time he despatched his colleague to China to Shanghai Fashion Week, which is also a sign that those international players are deepening the touch with China, not only open a flagship store, but also take part in the chain department of the fashion industry here.

Shanghai Fashion Week could be a nestle for China's young designers, where they could take off and prepare for presenting onto international venues. The fashion in China is based on a very priliminary stage of mass acknowledgement, while the earth for designers are not yet fertilized. 

Those who are supposed to be highlighted in our eyes. Shanghai Fashion Week has become a fair platform for young Chinese and foreign designers' debut.

This year, we're also looking forward to a future that these young talents step upon to a wider venue with a more international vision.
