2008年，瑞典设计师Daniel Wahlberg和Richard Sjöblom创立了“Army of Me”时装品牌。他们的第一个时装系列于2009年春/夏投放市场，仅包括八种不同风格，每种风格20件服装。
从此，“Army of Me”逐渐发展成一个全球公认的品牌，为男士提供全套成衣时装系列。
“自品牌创立以来，‘Army of Me'走过了一条漫长的道路。我们初创时规模非常小，而现在已行销瑞典、丹麦、挪威、芬兰、英国、意大利、荷兰、西班牙、美国和加拿大等国。”设计师Richard Sjöblom说。
“Army of Me”的品牌概念诞生于这样一种希冀，那就是标新立异。正是这种愿望将两位设计师从斯德哥尔摩街头一直引领到了上海这座城市。
In 2008, Swedish designers Daniel Wahlberg and Richard Sjöblom founded the brand Army Of Me. The first collection was released Spring/Summer 2009 and consisted of only eight different styles that were produced in 20 pieces each.
Since then, Army Of Me has grown into a well-recognized, global brand offering full ready-to-wear men’s fashion collections. “Since the start, Army Of Me has come a long way. We started extremely small and are now present on the markets of Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, England, Italy, Holland, Spain, the US, and Canada,” says designer Richard Sjöblom.
Army of Me’s concept was born out of a wish to do something different. A wish that brought the two designers all the way from the streets of Stockholm to the city of Shanghai.
The idea is simple: Combining classic designs from the west with Avant-garde fashion from the east. Even though some styles are challenging the average silhouette, the clothes are still wearable and refined in their appearance.
“We find it very interesting to use our personal Scandinavian clothing style that we are used to from back home as a base, and then and mix it up with some exciting elements from Asian fashion. We are inspired by a lot of different things, but especially by the street styles we see in Stockholm and Shanghai. The result ends up being a distinctive look suitable for most people,” says Daniel Wahlberg. The vision is equally straight forward: Instead of walking the line - they create their own.
